Howdy again, NEASTers! Welcome to the latest installment of our weekly wrap up… we’ve been busy again this week, less labour and more paper shuffling but that’s how it has to go sometimes to run this show!
Firstly our best news – this week found us finalising our little assisted rehome Edgar and our most beautiful girl Pepper! Here’s a quick pic of Edgar with his new dad – we wish them wonderful life together!
Our builder was a touch under the weather this weekend, so no working bee news.
So instead of that – a couple of quick reminders!
Our annual raffle is running at present, which a bunch of awesome prizes and will be drawn a few weeks before Christmas – so you can win a present for you, or maybe one as a gift! If you’re keen for tickets, please drop us a line on here or our Facebook page – where else could you win a tattoo voucher as a raffle prize? We like to do things a bit differently here at NEAST!
We’re in our final week of our September/October charge towards rehoming all of our cats/older kittens in preparation for the onslaught of adorable and fluffy mini-cats. We’ve rehomed a few, and we’ve taken in a few so we’re unfortunately no where near where we wanted to be… can you help? Know anyone who might like to adopt an older kitten or cat? If so, let them know how to find us!
Our inaugural NEAST newsletter is going to drop in about a week – but the only way you can get a peep is to be one of our Friends of NEAST. Keen to be on board from the very start? Our Friends of NEAST packages start as low as $25! Check out this post for more details. We’ve got some pretty cool plans for this monthly newsletter, and it’s a constantly evolving project so who knows where it might end up!
This week saw our NEAST 2018 calendars going out to our excited NEASTers – they have been super well received, with many NEASTers getting to see their adopted sweethearts in full colour! There are still a few available, and we hope to have some left for the Scottsdale Show – but we recommend you get in quick!
And speaking of the Scottsdale Show on the 17th/18th November… we’re gonna be there – are you? Come find us! We’ll have our lovely big new shiny banner up so we won’t be hard to find. You’ll be able to meet some of our crew, meet some of our adorable (and available!) cuties, see and buy our merchandise and of course raffle tickets, and if you’d like to learn more about becoming a foster, adopting a pet or anything to do with NEAST – now is your chance! Who knows what else you might find on our stand?
And finally, I wanted to give a huge shout out to everyone who supported us recently by dropping off donations to Begents Scottsdale for us – we were gobsmacked how quickly that basket was filling up! The food, milk and litter will come in ENORMOUSLY handy in Kitten Corner, and we appreciate every last item donated. Keep up the brilliant work NEASTers ❤
