Weekly wrap up #6

NEAST

Good evening NEASTers… and what a beautiful evening it has been! We hope it’s been just as lovely in your neck of the woods, and that you and your fam – both two, and four (or more or none!) – have been enjoying this nice weather – especially after the crazy wind we had here at NEAST HQ in the last few days!

So our week here?

The amazing Sean-Connery-esque Ollie has gone out on trial! A personal favourite of mine, so it’s brilliant to see him snuggling into his new home. We have all our fingers and paws crossed that it’s a perfect match, and that he starts a landslide of furry hearts leaving the sanctuary over the next month. We love having all of our little friends here with us and hate to see them go, but we do love to see them find their forever homes!

And on that note, our beautiful and bubbly Pepper met up with her potential new home on Friday, and it went very nicely indeed! Peppers meet went so well that she’s having a meet with their dogs this coming week, and if that goes just as well Pepper may make the family of four into a family of five ❤

And finally, we’re also being kept busy assisting a NEASTer rehome their little shih tzu Edgar – if you’re interested, find us on Facebook for more info! But make it fast: he’s generating a LOT of interest!

Speaking of Facebook – with a bit of help from a little competition we hit 2000 followers this week! Which (if Facebook lets our stuff load in your feed! Grr Facebook!) means 2000 people who now get to see our cute memes, our fundraisers, and most importantly get to see our adorable buddies in need for a home! There may not be any reward for sharing our page and inviting your friends at the present but… we’d appreciate it if you did anyway 😀

Unfortunately, due to the AFL Grand Final, the weather and illness we skipped the working bee this week, and everyone took a well needed weekend off – except for Michelle who was kept busy with paperwork – no rest for the wicked sanctuary owner!

As promised, this week brought the announcement of our Launceston drop off point for donations – we’ve been lucky enough for MY PATHWAY LAUNCESTON in Boland Street to come on board and help us out – just pop upstairs above Centrelink and find them there! Carlene and Caroline are ready and waiting for our Launcestonian supporters ❤

And finally another reminder – if you’ve ordered a calendar, payment is due by the end of this week! If you need, pop us a message on here or Facebook! If you haven’t ordered and are wishing you have, we still have limited numbers available so let us know – it’ll look something like this…

Take care, NEASTers and we’ll see you next week!
